Homeschooling

I secretly wanted to homeschool... But I was terrified...

Where do I even start? Do I have to turn stuff into the state? Does he have to be frequently tested? Will I have to take a test to make sure I'm even competent enough to homeschool?!! Will he get the social interaction he needs not to have culture shock when he enters the world!??!

Those are legit questions that stopped me from exploring any homeschool option.... until the virus hit. Suddenly we were all teachers - ready or not. Like every parent right now, I don't know what is going to happen come fall. But I have always done my best to be prepared with a couple backup plans to whatever scenario may unfold.

This was a homeschooling company I have heard nothing but good things about, over and over. Back when I was toying with the idea of homeschooling - I did what any American mom would to for the honest, down and dirty truth.... I joined a homeschooling facebook group 🤷🏼‍♀️ You KNOW those bitches are honest- and everyone is first to tout or shame with their personal experiences.

Alpha Omega is one that I heard over and over again- and everything was really positive. It is not a new company by any means, but they have really stepped up their game and been innovative with new learning methods. They understand children learn differently - and learning is NOT a one size fits all.

They have tools for parents to make it super easy no matter which method you choose. All online learning, all hands on physical materials, student paced, teacher lead- you name it. Or you can mix and match.

I was really surprised at the cost too.  Or maybe I just didn't know what to expect. But for the Monarch program (which I think would fit us best) It's less than $40 a month- or less than $400 a year!!

(Right now on sale for a little over $350 if you know you want this as an option for your family)
